Junho Kim is a film composer based in Seoul and the composer behind Filmbuff Music. His work focuses on thriller, action, crime and darker drama, with an emphasis on restrained tension, slow-building pressure and emotional unease.

He studied Composition & Arrangement and Film Music at Shobi College of Music in Tokyo. His professional background spans film and visual-media scoring, music production in Japan, and commercial work. Selected screen work includes Under the Roof (CHANEL X BIFF Asian Film Academy, 2022), as well as Balchi, Dongsaeng, Rewind and Under the Sea.

His approach begins with the scene rather than the music itself. Narrative intent, editing rhythm, dialogue and silence determine how much a cue should do. Orchestral writing and electronic textures are used to build pressure, shape perspective and support emotional movement without overwhelming the picture.

Junho works remotely across borders and is available for original scoring, additional music, cue writing and MIDI programming. He works primarily in Cubase and places a strong emphasis on precise revisions, organized stems and reliable delivery.
